The G3H Story:

Once a little girl had nightmares about snakes. The kind that make you scared to go to bed at night. Because who can sleep with snakes under the bed?

Then she bought a snakeskin belt. A PINK snakeskin belt. And that was the beginning of the end for her nightmares.

“Watch out, all you snakes under my bed, or this is what will happen to you! I’ll skin you out and turn you pink!”

As an adult, that girl’s nightmares became a dangerous reality. Rattlesnakes. Not under the bed, but on the sidewalk, in the grass near the poultry pen, coiled in the path where she walked her dog. And for a while, that girl was paralyzed with fear all over again.

Then her dog was bitten by a rattlesnake. That girl fought to save her dog. And it was then that she came to an important decision:

It was time for her troubles to have trouble with her.

And it was time for the rattlesnakes to pay some vet bills.

From this, Genesis 3 Handmade was born, the business name a reference to God’s words to the serpent in the Garden of Eden:

“I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your offspring and her offspring;

he shall bruise your head,

and you shall bruise his heel.”

G3H is a testament to victory. Not just of a girl overcoming fear, but ultimately, to the coming victory when Jesus crushes the head of the serpent under His foot!
