Arielle N. Eicher

Every Story for His Glory

I’m Arielle – Arielle N. Eicher on my book covers, but really just plain-Jane Arielle. Just a simple country girl, writing about country stuff: country living, dog loving, duck herding, snake killing adventures. And God – because the whole point of life is to point back to Him.

Not my usual stomping grounds – too wet, not enough rattlesnakes!
Photo taken near Long Beach, Washington.

You can’t be around here long without hearing about my critters, so I’ll just introduce them right here!

Dana – my second Doberman. She doesn’t have quite the same drive as the first, but she makes up for that with her funny quirks. A city dog moved to the country, she’s had to learn the hard way about a lot of things – including the snakes! Her grin is contagious, her skills with a ball are amazing, and her definition of a good throwing stick includes anything from a splinter to a fence post.

Glory – my red-headed Arabian/Quarter Horse mare. I’ve trained her myself, from the good to the bad and the ugly. They say a horse is a mirror to the soul, and this girl has a knack for teaching me lessons I don’t necessarily want to learn.

The Ducks/Poultry – the silly things in my life. No one ever charged them with brilliance unless it was brilliance of color. But they do add a smile and an outright laugh every now and then. That, along with fresh duck eggs makes it worth it.
